MANJUNATH : Common man with an Extraordinary Courage

I am one such person who reads newspaper but Pune Times & Pune Mirror.. I might not know who won the cricket match or did prices of stuff increased.. What I know is which film is going to be released when... Casts & music... It’s not like I don’t want to read the serious news... it’s just that I don’t want to get these things to poke my head. But, just avoiding things won’t change the scenario...
Recently while I was just changing channels to find some movie or stuff which would entertain me.. I stopped on a channel which was showing movie named “MANJUNATH”… I thought it would be some south movie with lots of action, drama... bla bla.. But, this movie was based on true story… story of Mr. Manjunath Shanmughan”... watched the whole movie.. I pity myself that I didn’t knew this person and what he did… those who know him, its great but those who don’t who he was.. for them…read further…
MANJUNATH...A normal happy-go-lucky person, enjoyed his college days as we did.. Studied hard... He was an Engineer and did his MBA from IIM Lucknow...After completing his MBA he got placed in “Indian Oil Corporation”... Life set... ;)... Got good job... good salary.. His parents were also happy... His job location was UP... one of India’s “CLEAN” city by all means. Now, the most shocking thing... He was murdered... shot dead with about 6-7 bullets in Lakhimpur Kheri, UP.
I watched this movie on 19th Nov ’14...It was his 9th death anniversary...After that I got to know that there was some person who was working somewhere in UP and was shot died.He was fighting against the adulteration of fuel.. against the mafia's who used to adulterate fuel... he sealed 2 petrol pumps .. and once gave a surprise visit & was shot dead.. 6-7 bullets cutting the layers of skin & moving inside his body.. Its so easy for us to watch it on screen.. but this moment would have been so difficult for him.. what thoughts were hitting his mind??
He spent his nights to find out why did they adulterate fuel? what was their profit? the answer he got was 200 crore/yr..in just one state of India.. We cannot imagine in what figure these people play...
The people who follow truth.. what do they get?? The tag line of this movie is "Gandhiji ne goli khai thi, toh kya tu khayega goli?" The people who follow rules, try to enlighten good thoughts get shot..
Mr Narendra Dabholkar was shot dead when he was out for morning walk.. His contribution to society was uncountable..he was trying to be an eyeopener against superstition..not letting these baba's & Ma's to ruin people's life..
Same thing happened in Jessica Lal's case.. who was working as a barmaid in a very renound bar was shot dead just coz she denied to give drink as bar was closed.. is cost of life is so cheap?? less than 1K???
What do these people do, just help society.. & what we do? if something like this happen to us we just turn our back.. stay mum...and let is happen..Money matters for us.. we dont have guts like Manjunath or Jessica who declined money for the sake of loyalty towards their job.. & were forced to accept bullet.. We just dont this.. corruption is ok for us until our work is done.. Didnt follow signal.. no big deal just give 100 bucks and ur didnt do anything.. not getting passport ?? np 1K and passport in ur hands..
This thinking of setting priorities .. pride, loyalty above money cant be done in one day..this should be tought since childhood.. parents do it..Hope sow seeds of pride, loyalty, dedication in our heart.. and let it grow.. :)
Hope for the best!!

Let it go!!!

Its very hard to let people go from our life.. we give our 100% for friendship or any relation.. but every time we don't get 100% in return.. whose fault is it? our fault that we make that person a special person in our life.. or the other one who doesn't make us special person in their life? Be very careful while making friends..that's what I learnt.. we make friends blindly just trusting them.. but may be those people are just with you for a cause..not all of them but yes we at least meet one..
Don't be dependent on any relation.. nothing is life long.. no one is with us for whole life.. and these relations happens in your life just to teach you a lesson..may it be good or bad... we intentionally don't hurt anyone.. but our behavior does..there are situations when we manage so many things just because our friends needs us.. but are they with us when we need them??? Think 100 times before giving time to anyone.. because yes we expect that in return.. normal human tendency.. and if we don't get it back we hurt ourselves..making ourselves sad.. no point in digging our own grave.

Space is the thing required.. in any relation we need space.. no one can force us to be what we are not.. but actually the thing is the more you pressurize any person, more he/she moves away from you...there is a dialogue in DCH.." ret ko jitna tum hatho main thamne ki koshish karogi utni hi vo tumhare hato re fisalti jayegi.. its so true..
We actually should go with the flow in life.. instead of expecting any person to be with for lifetime..enjoy the phase we are with that person.. may it be few seconds or years..we just need to collect moments in our life.. instead if being tensed and make people around us sad.. make them happy.. by staying happy and making them feel cozy when they are with you..
If someone left us its not there fault its our that we could not hold that person in our life.. may it be time constraint, communication gap,priorities... We should be clear in our mind who should be given priority..Be so strong that it wont hamper us if anybody is no more in our life.. reason may be anything...
Stay happy!!
