Hello Readers,
First of all " Happy New Year!!"
I know it has been long since any of my draft from my diary has been published! But, here I am with a new , fresh blog. I hope you will like it.. If you do then please le me know in the comment box.
I read it some where, it was a Sanskrit shloka (I dont remeber it) it meant
" At first it was Dev-lok against Patal lok (War against two "lok"),
Then happened 'Ramayana' it was war against 2 countries within same planet,
after that happened, 'Mahabharat' it was war within same family (same bloodline),
And now it like a war with your own self , in your mind!"
Sadly, we are in the era where we are with war with ourselves. If anyone meets an accident, 2 thoughts come in our mind, first 'should I go and help??? ' and second 'Let it be, someone will go and help him". Subconsciously, we wait for someone else will help so that we can continue with our schedule and remain out of unwanted stress as we call it. This is just an example. We always have 2 options and our mind is tested when we have to make choices and take responsibility of our choice. I would like quote from the movie 'Wonder' said be a 10 yr old kid,
“When given the choice between being right or being kind choose kind.”- Summer
COVID has taught us a lot, now its time to start making changes in your-self. Stop spreading negativity and go for positive thoughts. Cut yourself from the negative thoughts and negative people around you. No they don't deserve you, nor they need you. You deserve lot better, utilize your time in self love, family, friends, mind balancing.
As its just the start of the year, with my husband I will be practicing a positive technique "Gratitude Jar" This technique will let you look towards life in a different prospective. In every situation we will focus on good part! Like its rightly said look at the half glass filled! So the technique is you have note down positive thing happened with you in a week on a piece of paper and put it in a glass jar, and on the last day of the year open the jar and read all the good things happened to you and around you; And literally end your year on a 'Positive Note'.
Do it for your-self for your peace of mind and not for anyone. Everyone has there one space, own problems and there own situations to face. So lets stop comparing and skip to the good part ;)
