MANJUNATH : Common man with an Extraordinary Courage

I am one such person who reads newspaper but Pune Times & Pune Mirror.. I might not know who won the cricket match or did prices of stuff increased.. What I know is which film is going to be released when... Casts & music... It’s not like I don’t want to read the serious news... it’s just that I don’t want to get these things to poke my head. But, just avoiding things won’t change the scenario...
Recently while I was just changing channels to find some movie or stuff which would entertain me.. I stopped on a channel which was showing movie named “MANJUNATH”… I thought it would be some south movie with lots of action, drama... bla bla.. But, this movie was based on true story… story of Mr. Manjunath Shanmughan”... watched the whole movie.. I pity myself that I didn’t knew this person and what he did… those who know him, its great but those who don’t who he was.. for them…read further…
MANJUNATH...A normal happy-go-lucky person, enjoyed his college days as we did.. Studied hard... He was an Engineer and did his MBA from IIM Lucknow...After completing his MBA he got placed in “Indian Oil Corporation”... Life set... ;)... Got good job... good salary.. His parents were also happy... His job location was UP... one of India’s “CLEAN” city by all means. Now, the most shocking thing... He was murdered... shot dead with about 6-7 bullets in Lakhimpur Kheri, UP.
I watched this movie on 19th Nov ’14...It was his 9th death anniversary...After that I got to know that there was some person who was working somewhere in UP and was shot died.He was fighting against the adulteration of fuel.. against the mafia's who used to adulterate fuel... he sealed 2 petrol pumps .. and once gave a surprise visit & was shot dead.. 6-7 bullets cutting the layers of skin & moving inside his body.. Its so easy for us to watch it on screen.. but this moment would have been so difficult for him.. what thoughts were hitting his mind??
He spent his nights to find out why did they adulterate fuel? what was their profit? the answer he got was 200 crore/yr..in just one state of India.. We cannot imagine in what figure these people play...
The people who follow truth.. what do they get?? The tag line of this movie is "Gandhiji ne goli khai thi, toh kya tu khayega goli?" The people who follow rules, try to enlighten good thoughts get shot..
Mr Narendra Dabholkar was shot dead when he was out for morning walk.. His contribution to society was uncountable..he was trying to be an eyeopener against superstition..not letting these baba's & Ma's to ruin people's life..
Same thing happened in Jessica Lal's case.. who was working as a barmaid in a very renound bar was shot dead just coz she denied to give drink as bar was closed.. is cost of life is so cheap?? less than 1K???
What do these people do, just help society.. & what we do? if something like this happen to us we just turn our back.. stay mum...and let is happen..Money matters for us.. we dont have guts like Manjunath or Jessica who declined money for the sake of loyalty towards their job.. & were forced to accept bullet.. We just dont this.. corruption is ok for us until our work is done.. Didnt follow signal.. no big deal just give 100 bucks and ur didnt do anything.. not getting passport ?? np 1K and passport in ur hands..
This thinking of setting priorities .. pride, loyalty above money cant be done in one day..this should be tought since childhood.. parents do it..Hope sow seeds of pride, loyalty, dedication in our heart.. and let it grow.. :)
Hope for the best!!

Let it go!!!

Its very hard to let people go from our life.. we give our 100% for friendship or any relation.. but every time we don't get 100% in return.. whose fault is it? our fault that we make that person a special person in our life.. or the other one who doesn't make us special person in their life? Be very careful while making friends..that's what I learnt.. we make friends blindly just trusting them.. but may be those people are just with you for a cause..not all of them but yes we at least meet one..
Don't be dependent on any relation.. nothing is life long.. no one is with us for whole life.. and these relations happens in your life just to teach you a lesson..may it be good or bad... we intentionally don't hurt anyone.. but our behavior does..there are situations when we manage so many things just because our friends needs us.. but are they with us when we need them??? Think 100 times before giving time to anyone.. because yes we expect that in return.. normal human tendency.. and if we don't get it back we hurt ourselves..making ourselves sad.. no point in digging our own grave.

Space is the thing required.. in any relation we need space.. no one can force us to be what we are not.. but actually the thing is the more you pressurize any person, more he/she moves away from you...there is a dialogue in DCH.." ret ko jitna tum hatho main thamne ki koshish karogi utni hi vo tumhare hato re fisalti jayegi.. its so true..
We actually should go with the flow in life.. instead of expecting any person to be with for lifetime..enjoy the phase we are with that person.. may it be few seconds or years..we just need to collect moments in our life.. instead if being tensed and make people around us sad.. make them happy.. by staying happy and making them feel cozy when they are with you..
If someone left us its not there fault its our that we could not hold that person in our life.. may it be time constraint, communication gap,priorities... We should be clear in our mind who should be given priority..Be so strong that it wont hamper us if anybody is no more in our life.. reason may be anything...
Stay happy!!

Piece from my diary.. :)

This is a article from my personal diary.. thought of sharing with all...
21st August '13
Recently we celebrated our 66th independence day.. & yes many people are proving their independence.. by “RAPING” !!!It’s a shame.. on one hand we say women are moving ahead ,working with men..  hand in hand….& on other hand you are doing such shameful deed???
After what happened in Delhi with Nirbhaya, it should have never ever happened again.. but its still ON..!! which is really shocking… didn’t they feel that they are doing something which they should not even think of??
We say its 21st century .. but what about our mentality?? Is it like 21st century??
“FE-MALE” We bow down to Our Goddess Ma durga, laxmi, saraswati..  its said that every mother , every lady is like Goddess.. and you disrespect the same lady?? You rape them?? She could be someone’s daughter, wife, mother, sister, friend & so many roles women play.. don’t you think once?? It can be your sister or daughter or mother or wife too.. Do you **** them too??Guys you have such a sick mentality…you just need a Female.. that’s it.. then may it be a 2 months old baby or 96yrs old dadii.. Life is not about this guys.. Life is much more beautiful.. & u not only ruin that girls life but you also ruin life of her whole family..
All those dhongi baba’s , why do you use His name & do such dirty acts?? You guys just want one thing.. that’s it..At the age of going to HELL you are just adding to your sins..There was one case happened on 15th August '13 I don’t think I need to mention  beep’s name.. 15th august is day of proud, patriotism, we owe that day to all people who fought for independence.. And at the age when you should attend your grand daughter’s wedding you are raping a girl of her age??
After Nirbhaya’s case (after she died).. In Nashik, few Beep’s kidnapped a girl from school, took her to some place and raped her.. & threw her somewhere.. just a 13-14 yr old girl..what was her fault?? Just because she is a girl she had to pay for it??When the incident took place in Mumbai about the girl who went to cover a story in a closed factory.. there was one more news just below that news a girl aged just around 11 yrs .. 2 guys picked her up .. took her somewhere.. and raped the whole night & after that?? KILLED HER!!!By throwing her on railway track..kam khatam to marr dala??
Women are working hand in hand with men & these incidents won’t pull us back no matter what.. We will work in all conditions.. yes we will work early morning, we will work late night.. we will go to all places and work.. no limits..we will teach in schools and create young kids better human being..we will serve our country by being in defence, police force.. we will go to all places & cover the news..we  will land on moon .. we will work in films.. flatter our beauty..till the girl is calm , patient everything is according to your demands but soon as patient is at her peak .. tum to gaye beta!! We can fight and we will fight for our safety!!
In many opinions on such cases many people say its girls faults too… Really its girls fault too??? Was it that girls mistake she went to school wearing her school uniform in Nashik?? Was it that girls mistake she went to that factory for her work in mumbai?? Was it Nirbhaya’s mistake she took a ride to wrong bus?? Its all about mentality..its about how you look at a girl.. how you give her respect..
There should be strict punishment for misbehaving with women.. Otherwise even if a victim launches complaint there’s no use.. results should be given soon.. and punishment should be such that people with such mentality should think twice even before looking at women .
Like its said in one of the movie “till a women is clam she is Goddess saraswati .. but when she has to clean and remove dirt like you from world in no time she can be Goddess Durga, Goddess kali..All the people with such cheep mentality will have to face the circumstances.” At last GIRLS we have take care of ourselves no matter what only if you are strong no one can misbehave with you..

PS : if those bastards know all these things if the are “so-called” minors why are they give punishments like minors???

WAKE UP SID!!!!

What a classy movie .. Its just an masterpiece.. Many people would say, “It doesn’t have story”or “its an love story” or “its an one time watch”.. But I will stick to my opinion that it’s a MASTER PIECE. Its art direction is just magnificent.. They have done their homework with such perfection.. Not just art direction.. its script.. Acting..Locations..It’s just awesome!!!!
Ranbir Kapoor .. Handsome.. :)  His T-shirts are so cool…But the Movie is not about only SID or his life.. or just a spoilt brat .. in every section of the movie we learn a new thing…We see ourselves in it.. Yes atleast I do.. Kokana Sen Sharma.. Beautiful..simple but highly blessed with her acting skills..
When he enjoys with his friends.. eating roadside stuff.. shopping.. dancing .. studies.. Yes that’s the same thing we did..calling friend night before  exam as soon as we get to know that our friend is gonna sleep  and not gonna study anymore , Yeahh that’s the time to “end”.. stop studying.. :) But in real our friend hasn’t.. Even I got KT.."Memories”..:) As the movie proceeds further .. he joins his dad’s company.. Just because if he join his dad’s company and go to office regularly then he would get a brand new car..Everyone is selfish in this world.. So am I so was Sid.. but after all friends are friends.. to be with friends he runs away from office..When they paint Aisha’s flat.. wow..one of the best part of movie..
Aisha.. A gal came all the way from Bengal just to perceive her dream..to become a writer.. such a brave gal she is..Its really difficult to stay away from family.. I will really die without my family.. mom dad.. my bro.. no I can’t live without them..
In the movie there is a scene when Sid’s mom gets mangoes for Sid.. Mom are awesome.. :) they just know what we want.. and when we want it.. No matter their kids are away from them but they won’t forget what there kiddo needs..They just know it… and sometime we just yell or get angry on them.. :(
In the movie Sid goes back to meet his mother.. who always tries to speak in English.. which most of the time she speaks wrong..during  their conversation she pronounces something weird .. different.. Eshcool.. instead of school..hehehe..I remember one of the dialogue.. when Sid asks his mom y does she keeps on trying to speak in English.. She says I always try because it may happen that if I speak good English we may become friends.. J and this is the thing that my mom tries too.. :)
And it’s so strange.. when he is in his dad’s office he has to do nothing.. everything is on his desk… but when he joins MUMBAI BEATS..he has to do all the work.. cleaning.. get coffee for all.. etc..May b this is the reason my dad didn’t want me to assist them.. ;) As we work in our own firm/company we become more dependent.. we start generating ego.. may b ego is not the right word..but something near to that..it’s good to work with someone we don’t know..
The worlds bested moment is when we get our 1st salary.. then it may b of whatever amount.. When we give it to our parents.. That’s the moment of pride..for them as well as us.. it’s just AWESOME..
I am a huge fan of this movie.. There are so many things to learn from this movie.. Last scene of the movie.. best.. when both of them meet.. and the background song.. it’s too good.. “IKTARA”.. :)  perfect ending.. LOVE this movie.. :)

Warli Art!! You can try it too!!!

If you feel that you are not creative or artistic then I have an option ;) which is simple, easy, looks elegant, and beautiful.. Warli Painting… It’s really easy.. We don’t have to master it.. At initial stage we just need to learn it.. Some history before we start..It started in small village of Maharashtra-Gujarat border.. they used paste of rice to draw..usually done on walls.. but now u will see it on many things viz. small key-chains,t-shirts,sarees, bags, etc..
Actually according to me, warli is a very simple art.. they have kept it very simple to show their habitat.. their life..their living..warli doesn't  complicate the things.. if you check some images, then you will realize its just joining different shapes.. triangle,circle,square.. they mostly work in a square "chaukat" what we call.. these are the limits for them..
Traditionally they used rice paste but now we can use acrylic color (white).. any colored cloth.. if you are not confident enough then simply you can work on paper.. take colored papers (add colors in your life.. don't make it lame ;) )  if you are working on paper then colored pens will do..To start with you can follow the simple representation of drawing a human (as shown in snap below)

Yes its so simple.. :) just join them continuously... and fill the shapes.. it will make a beautiful design..use 2 colors alternately.. looks beautiful.. :D..you can draw it on paper cups.. (that's what I did ).. You can draw it on cloth.. and frame it..to make it more creative u can show a lady in warli.. You can draw huts,trees,snake,beetles,insects,..you will get many designs on google..
Art is a thing which will definitely reduce stress, increase concentration.. I experienced it.. now-a-days its my regular routine after office.. (its needed!!)..People were so creative even then when they didn't had much stuff.. and when we have so many options.. why not use it.. ;)..

Currently I am painting a dancing peacock.. its just so strange.. peacock just looks amazing even in single color.. Adding a snap.. its not completed yet.. Work in Progress...;)

Adding art in life is just awesome.. after its done it just feels great.. like an achievement..you can continue with any art form.. not necessarily warli..dance,singing,reading,writing,etc..
Explore yourself.. surely you will be surprised to see results.. ;)
All the best!!

Satyamev Jayte : A ball can change the world!!!

This is one such show which changes our thinking.. to look towards life..like its pervious seasons it just captures your mind.. and you start thinking about it..the previous seasons were great.. I would say they were eyeopener.. Good to watch such shows which brings the people in limelight from all the sectors, all levels of society..After the first season I thought by some means the higher authorities will try to shut down the show as they highlighted very critical topics.. but which were important to discuss..but soon they launched season 2.. which brought more topics in light..and now season 3.. :)

Actually I missed watching the 1st episode of season 3.. so today I watched it on youtube..topic was SPORTS!!... the experiences which all the people shared were too good..Really can sports change a person so much?? From a gunda to India's football team captian?? really hats off... but max credit goes to the coach/sir who enlighten the feeling to play football in him..People from all levels of society run behind money.. But this helped to bring a sportsman out of a gunda.. :) which made him a better human.. who learnt importance of people in his life..the person with money is not rich but the person who is rich is the one with bigger heart..:)

Its good to see women athletes from Mahadwadi running in their 9 yard sarees and there spirit.. No age limit.. just run..they know only 2 rules..start running after a bang.. and no crossing lines..;)

Sports teaches us so many things.. Team Work, Appreciation, Dedication, concentration, Staying fit and healty,Mental satability, & what not.. :).. Any sports person or any human can only succed in his/her dream if he/she has proper support.. Family is the one important thing..:).. what would have happened if Geeta & Babita's dad wont have supported them??wont have trained them?? the count in India's Gold medal's would be less..just imagine.. if parents of such players start encouraging them.. where would India rank.. :)...surely in first 3..:)..

"where there is a will there is a way" Subham learnt 60% of playing golf from youtube which is great..But supporting needs money..language..this is what Shubham's dad said.. his experience when he took Shubham for golf practice.. First of all costly golf kit, then rent to be paid for practicing...its very difficult for a middle class father to "support'" his child to live his/her dream..but we can help them.. those who are stable and can donate small amount for them please dont think much.. just do it.. :)

Now scenario has changed so much that yes kids play football,cricket,tennis,etc.. but on cell phones,tv.. we need to change their mind set by encouraging them to play more.. to grow more..for that matter even i need encouragement.. i might be one from World's lazy peoples list .. ;) but after watching, the least I can do is play any game minimum once in a week..:) Which I will definitely do.. :) for those who play regularly.. guys continue to do so.. :)
All the best!!.. Who knows it might change your world too.. ;)

PS: For those who missed the episode for them.. youtube link..

LIFE : confused what is it exactly!!

LIFE: Sometimes I think I have grownup & know about life.. But suddenly make a mistake and realize that no.. Still I am a kid.. lot more to go.. Lot more to learn.. Lot more to achieve in LIFE!! Like its said in some film.."Main udna chahta hoon, daudna chahta hoon, girna bhi chahta hoon.. bas rukna nhi chahta.." LIFE is all about learning, making mistakes, conclusions, achievements,.. I just wanna learn.. and don’t wanna stop learning things..

There was a span in my life when i thought i had nothing to do..Regular routine..
Get up in morning.. Get ready for office.. Like an idiot wait for bus to come... reach office.. have breakfast..(same, typical, boring brkfst)..Get back to work (which always starts after noon.. ).. Then wait eagerly when will clock hit 10.30 so that we could take our tea break... lunch..Then again work..But having conversation with applicants is always fun.. (I just love French .. :D)..Finally then it’s time to go.. 5.30.. yeah sigh of relif.. Back home again.. Have dinner and sleep...such a boring LIFE!!
Quel dommage!!!!

Then thought when we have so much of time.. we can utilize it instead of just waiting for clock to hit different numbers!! I started to conclude day with "what things i learnt and did today" There were days when i did nothing...other than just wasting time..Reading gossip.. But, after this realization things changed..I had answer for my day..I learnt about people.. History..Randomly just think of any person in mind.. Write that name in our very own encyclopedia.. "GOOGLE".. And start reading...:D.. Know there life.. it may happen that their life might inspire us & give direction to our LIFE!!! Yeah i know reading is a bit boring.. so what we too have "YOU TUBE" :D.. on just one click we can know so many things..

THINKING is yet another very important thing.. But it’s always good that we restrict ourselves to positive thinking.. Good thinking..Better thinking.. "as you sow , so shall you reap"...yeahh life is a boomerang.. Whatever you do will come back to you one day.. So always try to do good & think positive with others...if we think like "y to learn , how will it help us.. big deal.. " it will just stunt our growth.. this just reminded me of a incident..my lead.. he just planted a sapling in office.. near our window.. every day he would come.. have a look .. give water.. keep it in sunlight for sometime.. it was so nice to see someone taking care of a plant like a child..Something like this just inspires us.. that small sapling became such a imp factor.. we all used to watch it grow..:)

LIFE goes with flow.. its moves as we move it.. all mistakes are the miss thinking we did.. better go beyond that and make our book called life more interesting..I just want to make it more n more creative.. then may it be learning french, warli painting.. thinking of my passion "Bharatnatyam".. or to just walk around and see clouds move..I just wanna my make my last page the bestest page then the rest of the pages in my book.. my life... :D
 Hope i do it..
